Summer Projects

For those wondering where I have been… I have been gaming to relax my mind from the worries and battles of months before. For those curious of what’s been going on:

Been tweaking Suzaku MK II since stripping it down to Ubuntu Netbook Remix 10.04 LTS. Fun fact: Firefox launches in 15 seconds versus 45 in Windows 7 Starter Edition

PC Games: Split/Second and Blur

PlayStation 3: Demon’s Souls, Resonance of Fate, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Valkyria Chronicles, Split/Second

xbox 360: Bayonetta, Final Fantasy XIII

PlayStation 2: dotHack Infection, Shin Megami Tensei Persona 4, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, and Final Fantasy XII

PlayStation Portable (PSP): Shin Megami Tensei Persona

I am debating on camera and camcorder gear as it is somewhat vital to the project I am working on… I know for sure that my required load-out will be a digital SLR camera, a Casio Exilim EX-G1 (durable point-n-shoot), and a camcorder of some sort. The digital SLR, I am debating on either a Canon EOS 500D, Canon EOS 50D, Canon Digital Rebel XS, or a Pentax K-x. Camcorders, I am shooting for something that has the compatibility for HD resolution (720/1080p) and SD card compatibility while the addition of a hard drive would be very nice. The point and shoot is more for quick hits and something to always have on my body.

I will say that I am hoping for a boon of money to begin building Seiryuu (the death machine) because I think Byakko is showing signs it could use a retirement. I love the idea of being able to push games harder and even faster! But we will see what blessings are in store for me.

Expect more fun things to happen with due time.
